Janis Sibelis, also known as Jay Stever, is a Latvian musician who began his career in 1999 together with a group Shake and Bake. He has recorded 8 studio albums and taken part in various international music competitions and New Wave in 2002.

Albums Glāze piena and Summer City received the Annual Prize of Latvia’s Music Recordings as the best album. In cooperation with Laima Vaikule, Janis has given 2 concert tours in USA and one in Europe. Janis has also given concerts in Ukraine, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

In 2016, Janis had recording sessions in United Kingdom where his new studio album in English was made.
