The construction of the church was completed in 2005 (the architect Lija Kukele). Before construction works, the land on which the church is situated was consecrated by the metropolitan of Riga. The funds were raised thanks to the congregation’s persistence. Parish consider that his church are protected by The Virgin of Iverskas. This church had built in honour The Virgin icon- and because of it construction were going so fast.
