Vijciems Manor was built in the 19th century. The building complex consists of 2 well-preserved granaries, stables, servants’ and gardener’s houses. The olden manor-house was burned down during the revolutionary unrests in 1905. On the old basement of the manor-house the new Vijciems Elementary School-house was built.

In 2004 reconstruction works were completed for local government and for culture centre, where long time ago were stable and pub.
