Valka Toursim information bureau has made a route – adventure hiking for groups „Finding border”in border cities Valka/Valga.

We invite you to cross the border 5 times, to get acquainted with mysterious Jānis Cimze, feel a charm of a border towns, make a selfie with one leg standing in Latvia, and other in Estonia! Enjoy a route, where you can gain knowledge, inspiration and fun.

The lenght of the route trough twin city takes about 10 km during which You will be able to see the most beautiful places and remarcable objects of both cities. It will give you an experiance to feel like a border town citizen. Valka / Valga is a unique twin-city in historical context and in crossroads of Latvia and Estonia. This route is adviced for groups of students from all over the Latvia! The most cheerful way to go to Valka / Valga is by train, which is very convenient for this route!
